Travis - ADOPTED!
Background: Travis is a handsome hound mix whose just looking for some place to call home. He loves riding in the car, going for walks in the park, long naps, and playing ball in the yard. Travis also enjoys giving kisses to show his appreciation. If you're looking for a new friend this spring, perhaps you'd consider Travis.

Breed: Hound mix
Approximate Age: 3-4 years old
Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Travis is neutered!
Vaccinations: Travis is negative for heartworms ad parasites, and is currently on preventative, flea prevention, and has a microchip.
Housetrained: Yes, Travis is housetrained and crate-trained!
Compatibility With Children: Travis is very social and likes meeting new friends, including children!
Compatibility With Other Pets: Travis loves playing with the other dogs and cats in his foster house.
Personality: Travis may be a bit shy at first, but he's got a lot of love to give. Some of his favorite things are riding in the car and walking in the park. Playing ball in the yard is his favorite pasttime. Plus with the hound in him, he also likes to follow his nose :-)
Ideal Home: Travis is looking for a family to love him and walk him, and give him a nice fenced yard to keep him safe. He likes having a bed of his own to sleep on. Better yet, if you would let him share yours, he'll make you feel safe when he's around. If you're looking for a new friend, Travis would love to be yours.

Buck Shot - ADOPTED!
Background: Buck Shot (the Lucky Dog) is a handsome black Lab mix who has, until now, been denied a happy, safe, loved life. This poor boy has been moved around, tied up on a chain, and left in a kennel for most of his life. Buck Shot hasn't been very lucky yet, but we're hoping to change that. Can you give him a chance to show you what a wonderful boy he can be? Gender: Male
Breed: Black Lab Mix - 80 lbs!
Approximate Age: 5-7 years young. :-)
Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Buck Shot is neutered!
Vaccinations: Buck Shot current on shots, including bordatella. His heartworm test and fecal test came back negative. He's currently on heartworm prevention and flea prevention, and has a microchip.
Housetrained: Yes, Buck Shot is housetrained!
Compatibility With Children: Buck Shot is really good around children and kids would be great for him to play with and hang out with. Buck Shot would be a great family dog!
Compatibility With Other Pets: Buck Shot does great with the other dogs and cats in his foster home.
Personality: Buck Shot has lots of energy, loves to play, and is a "big baby." He'd love to be your "lap dog!"

Ice
Background: If you're looking for an extremely smart, outgoing, and highly obedient dog, Ice is your man. He may be a bit of a big dog, but he is very manageable, thanks to graduating from the Prison Tails obedience program. Prison Tails is a program developed by Mixed Up Mutts in cooperation with Westville Correctional Center in Northern Indiana. Offenders are put into teams of two, and each team is responsible for 24-hour-a-day care and training of a dog during a 10 week session. Ice is a graduate of this round-the-clock training and obedience program, and will WARM your heart!

Personality: Ice is an awesome dog. Not only is Ice beautiful with the jet black coat and blue eyes, he is also outgoing, smart and quick. He loves people, the small and the big!
Ideal Home: Ice would probably do best in a home with another large dog to play with and to keep him company. He will also definitely need a nice fenced yard for him to play.
