Lady Noble

Lady NobleBackground: Meet the royalty of Monroe County! Lady Noble is a purebred 8 year old Great Pyrenees who is as sweet as she is outwardly beautiful (she's shaved in these photos, in case you're wondering)! Lady Noble has her AKC paperwork (not that this should matter, in our opinion, because a wonderful dog is a wonderful dog, period). She's a little chubby, but is on a diet and is getting lots of exercise. When she arrived at Rescue Farm in Ellettsville, Lady Noble was dirty and covered in mats, but now she's clean and gorgeous! And although she's huge, she's very careful with her movements, and does not knock anyone down! This beauty queen is even great with kids, and lets puppies jump on her, and chew on her! :-) She's also wonderful with all the adult dogs at the rescue agency, but doesn't get along with the cats. Lady Noble will be a great addition to someone's family!

Compatibility With Children: Lady Noble is extremely affectionate, and would do well with children.

Compatibility With Other Pets: Lady Noble gets along great with dogs and puppies, but DOES NOT like cats.

Personality: Lady Noble is SO affectionate that you can say she is a "velcro dog" -- she just wants to be with you all the time! She loves people and loves attention and affection. She's just a very good girl looking for a loving home and someone who loves her unconditionally.

Ideal Home: Lady Noble would do well with most anyone. Ideally, she could be a family dog - she has lots of love and would love a family full of people to share it with. She would also do well with someone older and just keep them company, since she is older and laid-back.

Louise - ADOPTED!

Louise Background: Louise is a survivor. First, she survived Hurricane Katrina (she was found wandering the streets with her puppy). Then, she survived being transported all the way to Indianapolis Animal Care & Control (IACC), the local agency that rescued and cared for her for more than 7 months. After that, Louise survived a bout of heartworm (but she's healthy now)! Now, Indiana-PAW has partnered with IACC and ASTRO Pit Bull Rescue to help Louise find a permanent home. That is, Louise is now with an Indiana-PAW foster parent in Merrillville, and her adoption will go through ASTRO. Yes, Louise is a survivor. Please help ensure her hard story has a happy ending by considering opening your home to her permanently - she is a beautiful, docile, loving family pet! Lousie had a beautiful article written about her in the newspaper!
