Sandy
Gender: Female
Breed: Lab/Akita Mix (she weighs approx. 85 lbs.!)
Approximate Age: 18 to 24 months old
Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Sandy is spayed!
Vaccinations: Yes, Sandy is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm tested, and on preventative!
Housetrained: Yes, Sandy is housetrained and has never had an accident in the house! Sandy is also crate-trained, but prefers to sleep out of her crate on her blanket.
Compatibility With Children: Sandy loves kids of all sizes, and would be a great family dog!
Compatibility With Other Pets: Sandy is extremely dog-oriented. She's submissive and non-aggressive, yet strong and confident with a pack mentality. She seems to want to engage all other animals in play. She also seems to do well with cats.
Personality: Sandy has a very gentle and curious nature. She loves humans and animals, and has demonstrated a free spirit. She's eager to please and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement.
Ideal Home: For someone who has the patience to continue with positive reinforcement, Sandy will be a wonderful addition to the family. She requires room to run, and displays a strong pack mentality, so her forever home ideally will have another dog. Sandy will need a fenced yard, but you shouldn't leave her alone in the yard -- she has a tendency to dig under the fence when she wants out.
To Adopt: If you're interested in adopting Sandy, you may contact Love Of Labs (LOLIN) at lolin@insightbb.com or, visit their website at www.lolin.org.
