Kisses Background: Hi! My name is Kisses and I'll give you three guesses why that is! I'm the sweetest girl on the block! I had a very rough start to the world as a puppy being dumped at our local Animal Control facility. No one would take me because they said that I was black and tan and would be a big dog. I'm not a big dog though, I proved them wrong! I'm only as tall as your knee, but I do weigh almost 40 pounds! Won't you adopt me?

Gender: Female

Breed: Terrier Mix

Approximate Age: 1.5 years old

Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Kisses is spayed!

Vaccinations: Kisses is up-to-date on her vaccines, rabies and taking heartworm preventative. She's also been tested and is heartworm NEGATIVE.

Housetrained: Not yet, although Kisses learns things VERY quickly!

Compatibility With Children: Kisses has not been exposed to children, so we're not sure how she'd do.

Compatibility With Other Pets: Kisses would prefer to be the only pet in your home.

Personality: Kisses has a terrier personality. She's always VERY excited to see you and will play and run all day. She is very protective of her family and home which includes protecting her food bowl from other dogs. She is currently in training to overcome guarding her food bowl. People can take her food bowl away and even play with her while eating. However, from her young start fighting for food, it's had an impact on her.

Ideal Home: Kisses ideal home is one that is familiar with terriers and their energy level. She is a very active dog and would thrive in a home that has a fenced yard and that likes to play or even run. Kisses deserves a chance in a home to be loved and get all the attention she deserves, she soaks up every ounce of affection!
