Ulysses - ADOPTED!
Background: Ulysses is one of a litter of puppies dropped off in the driveway of Animal Protection Association (APA) of Jeffersonville, Indiana's shelter almost a year ago. Ulysses was part of the the "General" litter - named because they were basically on their "last stand." His entire litter is very fond of children, so he would probably do best in a situation where there is always someone nearby for him to love. Ulysses would be the PERFECT family dog. Please help us find the perfect forever home for this guy -- he would love you forever!Gender: Male
Breed: Black Lab/Collie Mix
Approximate Age: 1 year old - about 50 lbs.
Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Ulysses is already neutered!
Vaccinations: Yes, Ulysses is up-to-date on all his vaccines and neagive for heartworms!
Housetrained: It's unlikely that Ulysses is housetrained, since the poor guy has spent the last year in a shelter. But he's so bright that he should be a breeze to crate-train.
Compatibility With Children: Yes, Ulysses does GREAT with children. He's playful but gentle.
Compatibility With Other Pets: Ulysses does well with other dogs, but we're not sure how he does with cats.
Personality: Ulysses and his whole litter are very people-friendly, but they seem to love children most of all. He'd do great in a home where there's always someone around for him to love.
Ideal Home: Ulysses would love a home where he could be the center of attention. He absolutely loves people and children and would be content to spend his whole life just getting some attention.

Beagle Boy
Background: This little cutie is called Beagle Boy. He's a older beagle, but one with a ton of life just looking for a new home. He's playful, funny, and spunky. If you meet him, you will absolutely fall in love with him, and he'll love you for the rest of his life.
Gender: Male
Breed: Beagle. Small - only 13" tall!
Approximate Age: 10 years old
Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Beagle Boy is already neutered!
Vaccinations: Yes, Beagle Boy is up-to-date on all his vaccines and heartworm negative! He's in very good health.
Housetrained: We're not certain if Beagle Boy is housetrained, but if not, he should master it in no time!
Compatibility With Children: Yes, Beagle Boy would do VERY well with children.
Compatibility With Other Pets: Yes, Beagle Boy does very well with other dogs. We're not sure how he does with cats, but if he's like most beagles, he'll probably do just fine with them.
Personality: Beagle Boy is a playful loving little dog. He's quite a little character and makes his foster parents laugh a lot. Beagle Boy is happiest when he's playing with his squeeky ball which he carries everywhere with him.
Ideal Home: Beagle Boy's ideal home would be with a family that's looking for a playful, but older dog. Don't forget that with older dogs you have to worry less about "puppy-behavior" like chewing, etc., and can spend more time enjoying your sweet, little dog.

Seymour
Background: This big guy is Seymour, a nice, friendly Akita mix. Seymour's owner can't keep him anymore which makes him sad, so he's looking for a new home. All he needs is someone that's willing to take hiim in and he'll be happy. If you are looking for a nice big boy to love...please consider Seymour. Gender: Male
