Romeo

Romeo Background: This handsome fellow is named Romeo, and his name says it all! Romeo's life has not been easy, until he found this wonderful rescue group that took him in. He's lived in a shelter, several homes, and was tossed outside to fend for himself without any front claws, but now he's living the good life with his foster mom. Romeo is a very lovable, sweet boy that likes being petted and brushed and even likes his belly rubbed. He sure hopes someone will inquire about him, since he really wants to find his forever home.

Gender: Male

Breed: DSH Cat (a big boy at 11-12 pounds)

Approximate Age: 3-4 year old

Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Romeo is neutered.

Vaccinations: Yes, Romeo is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, he's tested FIV/FeLV negative, he has a microchip, his fecal test was negative for internal parasites, and he's currently on flea prevention. Romeo is also front-declawed.

Housetrained: Yes, Romeo is housetrained.

Compatibility With Children: Yes, Romeo does well with children.

Compatibility With Other Pets: Yes, Romeo does well with other pets in his foster home.

Personality: Romeo likes to lay around and just look good, but then he also loves to get up and play and chase around the milk bottle rings his foster mom saves for him. He has so much affection to give you that you'll just fall in love with him. Romeo has such a big personality, he'll bring lots of love and joy to any wonderful person that is willing to give him a second chance at a wonderful life.

Ideal Home: Romeo has been passed through several homes, shelter, rescue and foster -- he just wants a permanent home and someone to love.

Johnnie Socks - ADOPTED!

Johnnie Socks Background: Say "Hello" to Johnnie Socks! Johnnie is a black and white, young adult, shorthaired Tuxedo male with a "bob tail". At one point, his tail was injured and healed on it's own before he was found and taken into rescue. Johnnie was an outside stray cat living the hard life and now lives in a foster home with another cat and several dogs. Johnnie has a free-spirit and is looking for a nice home to keep him warm and safe. If you're looking for a good friend to spend the holidays with, take a look at Johnnie.

Housetrained: Yes, Johnnie is housetrained.

Compatibility With Children: Yes, Johnnie does well with children.

Compatibility With Other Pets: Johnnie is living with dogs and other cats in his foster home, and he doesn't get along to well with the dogs. He also likes to push the other cats around at his foster home.

Personality: Johnnie is kind of a free-spirit - he loves to watch outside and see what goes on and, at times, wishes he could go outside and play again. You'll have to watch him close because he would love to try and run out the front door and go outside. Johnie has personality plus and not too much really seems to bother him. He has a super sweet side that is so lovable. He loves to play with toys, and he can be very vocal cat at times.

Ideal Home: Johnnie would love to find a quiet home. He wants attention, but he is a very adaptable cat to most situations. He would love a nice screened in porch at his new home so he would feel like he was outside, but was safe behind the screens.
