Background: Christmas is the time of year for giving, and this year we'd like to see if someone out there would be willing to give this special dog a new home. Kato is an extremely friendly Labrador retriever mix that ran into a bout of bad luck. When Kato arrived at the Humane Society of Indianapolis, Kato had a badly injured leg. However, HSI decided that Kato deserved a second chance. His leg was amputated, but that hasn't slowed this handsome guy down. He can fetch and outrun many of his four-legged buddies. Let's give this fighter his Christmas miracle.Gender: Male
Breed: Labrador Retriever mix
Approximate Age: 1.5 year old
Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Kato is neutered.
Vaccinations: Yes, Kato is up-to-date on all his vaccinations. As mentioned above, Kato did have to have one of his legs amputated, but he's doing fantastic healthwise.

Ideal Home: Kato is just looking for a good place to crash. It doesn't have to be a mansion. He's a sweet, loving dog who just wants a nice home, a warm bed, and someone that loves him. Surely there's someone out there who'd love to wake up to this guy curled up by your side each morning!
