Max

Max Background: Max (aka Maxwell House Coffee because of his coffee colored fur) is an "Iron Man" athlete, with seemingly endless energy to keep up with family members as they traverse the lanes of this farm. He's very much at home with his foster parents' three other dogs, and respectful of their cats. He plays fetch, loves to sneak up and pull off a glove of his sheltering "Mom." He began his foster care days a couple of weeks ago at 103 lbs. (!) -- with a gradually diminished total food intake, as well as a higher quality food, he's slimming and looking wonderful with his shiny chocolate coat.

Gender: Male

Breed: Chocolate Labrador Retriever

Approximate Age: 7 years old

Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Max is neutered!

Vaccinations: Yes, Max is up-to-date with all vaccines, including rabies, lepto and bordatella. He is current with heartworm and flea preventives.

Housetrained: Max has always lived in a garage; we has foster family has allowed him to continue in his comfortable environment. He loves his foster family's heated garage, and has done fine with no accidents during his several visits inside their home. He's crate-trained and well-disciplined as he knows how to sit and stay!

To Adopt: If you would like to be considered to be Max's new owner, and you are willing to love and care for him for the rest of his life, fill out and send the adoption form below. Mrs. Joey Cole Kubesch of Animal Kindness (Peru, IN) at 765-473-6584 or angus1@comteck.com

Finn

Finn Background: Finn is definitely a working breed dog that loves long walks, playing fetch in the backyard, running around acting silly at times or any kind of challenging activity. Finn could also make a great jogging partner! He weighs approximately 55 lbs.

Gender: Male

Breed: German Shepherd mix

Approximate Age: 2 years old

Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Finn is neutered!

Vaccinations: Yes, Finn is up-to-date with all vaccines, including rabies, lepto and bordatella. He has an ID microchip and is current on heartworm and flea preventatives.

Compatibility with Children: Finn would do best in a home without small or young children.

Compatibility with Other Animals: Finn lives in a foster home with another larger dog, but would be fine being the only pet and being the center of your attention or could have just the right playmate. He is also cat safe.

Personality: Finn loves toys, but they need to be very durable as he still likes to be a puppy with most toys!!! Finn loves attention and can be a cuddler, too.

Ideal Home: A forever home where Finn gets lots of attention and exercise activities.

To Adopt: If you would like to be considered to be Finn's new guardian and you are willing to love and care for him for the rest of his life then please fill out a dog adoption application on our website at www.countrysideanimalrescue.org. Approved adoption application and home visit is required for all adoptions.
