Indiana-PAW Pet Of The Week Sponsored By
Rogue
Background: Rogue is a sweet little girl in search of her new home. She had a pretty rough start in life but seems to be a happy loving little girl. She is just under a year old, weighs about 35lbs and has plenty of growning to do. She gets along great with the other dogs in the house, is fine with cats and loves kids, but can be high energy and would probably be best in a home with kids over 10 years old. She is very active and smart. She would make a great jogging partner or someone to snuggle with on the couch.
Gender: Female
Breed: Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier[Mix]
Approximate Age: 11 months
Spay/Neuter Status: Rogue is spayed!
Vaccinations: Rogue is current on vaccines & boosters. She tested negative for heartworms and is current on prevention. Also, she has been fecal tested for internal parasites, is current on flea prevention and will have ID microchip.
Housetrained: Rogue is fully house and crate trained!
Compatibility with Children: Rogue loves kids but can be high energy and would probably be best in a home with kids over 10 years old.
Compatibility with Other Animals: Rogue gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She loves to romp and play, but is very submissive.
Personality: Rogue is a very intelligent and loving puppy. She already knows basic comands such as sit, stay, leave it, and bed (to go into crate). We are currently working on speak, shake, and play dead!
Ideal Home: Rogue's ideal home would be someone that has the time and energy to walk, run or play a good game a fetch with her. She can be full of energy but she also enjoys a good bone laying at your feet after a long day of play. She also sometimes thinks she is a lap dog and must always be with her "people".
To Adopt: If you would like to be considered for Rogue's adoption please visit www.dirtypawsrescue.org. Rogue's adoption donation is $150 and that will include her spay, vaccines & boosters, fecal test, heartworm test, microchip and be current on flea & heartworm prevention. An approved adoption application and home visit are required prior to adoption. For your convenience, you may fill out an adoption application online or contact Tiffany at DPRescue@gmail.com or 812-602-4637 for more information about this pet.
Ashlee
Background: My name is Ashlee, and I was found as a stray, and have been in foster care for a couple of months now. I am kind of skinny, and have shed most of my beautiful coat, but it is coming back in now, and I am
gaining the weight I need to be strong and beautiful again! Ooops, I forgot to mention that I am a Great Pyrenees mix! My foster mommy thinks I am mixed with a Lab because I sleep upside down and like water more than most Pyrs! I also love cats, other dogs, and especially people.
Gender: Female
Breed: Great Pyrenees Mix
Approximate Age: 1 year old
Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Ashlee is spayed!
Vaccinations: Ashlee is up to date on all vaccinations and is currently taking monthly Heartworm preventative. Ashlee is healthy and is microchipped.
Housetrained: Ashlee is housetrained and crate trained. She can go all night before needing to go outdoors and has not had any accidents in her foster home.
Compatibility with Children: Ashlee loves children, small and older. She is very friendly and loving, and has never really known a stranger. She loves to curl up with the kids in her foster home and push her nose on them until they give her some extra love!
Compatibility with Other Animals: Ashlee shows no signs of problems with any animals. She currently resides with two other Pyrenees and three cats. She plays well with all of them.
Personality: Ashlee's foster Mom says she has one of the best personalities of any dog she has fostered...and there have been many. Ashlee is sweet, loving, quiet, (except for a funny howling kind of bark every now and then), bouncy, speedy, and she even plays fetch! She is teaching her foster siblings how to play! A terrific dog!
Ideal Home: A home with children and maybe other dogs for her to play with in a nice fenced yard. Cats would be ok too. A home with a family that loves to play ball, then curl up for a nice long nap with lots of hugs and kisses. Ashlee still likes to be re-assured that she is a part of the family.
To Adopt: If you would like to adopt Ashlee, contact Indy Great Pyrenees Rescue at www.igpr.org or call 317-251-3179. There is a adoption donation of $300. An approved adoption application and home visit are required prior to adoption.
