Lambeau
Background: Lambeau was found wandering the streets of downtown Indianapolis in mid-August. Some good samaritans took him in, had him vetted, and are now fostering him until they can find him a good home. Lambeau is an incredibly sweet, friendly dog. He has interacted with several dogs, and even a few cats, with no apparent issues. He absolutely loves attention, and as a young dog, he has a fair amount of energy. Lambeau is incredibly obedient and has no issues with being crated, walking on leashes, or interacting with various people. This boy is just a big lover.

Vaccinations: Yes, Lambeau is current on his vaccinations.
Housetrained: Yes, Lambeau is housetrained and crate trained.
Compatibility with Children: Lambeau would do better with older children as he is rather energetic.
Compatibility with Other Animals: Lambeau was fostered with other dogs, and he has done very well with them. No aggression or dominance issues at all. He's also visited with several cats/kittens and hasn't shown any agression towards them.
Personality: Lambeau is a young, energetic boy who wants nothing more than to love and be loved. Everyone who has met Lambeau has commented on his personality and everyone just loves him. He is very obedient and well behaved. Although, as with any young dog, he's do well with an obedience course.
Ideal Home: Lambeau just needs a home with plenty of love. He is a sweet boy who just wants to love up on everyone he meets. Lambeau could also use a nice fenced yard that he can run around in, as he's an energetic young dog still. If you're looking for a sweet, loving dog, Lambeau is the perfect dog for you.

Merlin - ADOPTED!
Background: Merlin is a neutered, 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier mix Merlin with amazing hazel eyes. It's those eyes that grab you at first...and then shortly thereafter it's Merlin...giving you quite the hug and wet kiss. Merlin is a social butterfly, loves other dogs and people and just enjoys life. He is highly intelligent and treat motivated which will make obedience training a breeze! And as with any young dog, he does need some obedience training. Merlin needs a strong leader to teach him his doggy and leash manners and one who will make sure he gets plenty of daily exercise. But even with his playful, silly ways, Merlin has struggled with life in a shelter and had to go into foster care for a mental break and to put on weight. The stress is simply too much for him, and he got down to skin and bones. His foster family really enjoyed his company and he did very well with their dogs. He is at an excellent weight at least for now...so we are hoping someone will fall in love with this clown before he starts to decline again. He is now healthy and happy (as you can see from his pictures) and he is ready to pack up his wig, horn, size 22 shoes, red nose and head to his forever home.

Wiley
Background: Wiley was surrendered by his owner from NW Ohio and he's now being fostered in Indianapolis. He is very healthy and obedient. He is 18-inches tall so he's a knee-high dog and he weighs about 30 pounds.

Breed: American Eskimo Dog
Approximate Age: 2-1/2 years old
Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Wiley is neutered!
Vaccinations: Yes, Wiley is up to date on routine shots, and is on heartworm preventative.
Housetrained: Yes, Wiley is completely housetrained!
Compatibility with Children: Wiley plays rough so children older than ten would be better for him.
Compatibility with Other Animals: Wiley is good with other dogs but he is a rough player and likes to be the boss. He will chase and torment cats.
Personality: Wiley is friendly and moderately active. He is not an excessive barker but will let you know when someone is outside so he is a great watchdog. He enjoys car rides, sitting nicely or napping in his seat. He loves to play with his toys, but does not bother the human things around the house. Wiley knows many commands such as sit, down, no, off, shake!
Ideal Home: An experienced dog owner would be best for Wiley. He requires rules, boundaries and limitations but he obeys very well. He needs discipline with leash walking but if you are firm and persistent, he responds nicely. Wiley would enjoy a large fenced yard to run and play fetch!
