Paws 'N Purrs and South Bend Animal Care & Control are providing a transport truck to the NAWS low-cost spay/neuter clinic in Mokena, IL on the 4th Thursday of every month. Each truck will be limited to a certain number of dogs and cats of each sex and of certain weight classes in dogs. A Rabies vaccine at the cost of $10 will be required with spay/neuter surgery unless owner can show proof of current Rabies Certificate. Base prices start at $25 for cats and $50 for dogs. Feral cats are welcome in secure capture cages. Owners are responsible for bringing animals in secure cages or carriers.

A free self-help support group that provides a means of communication with others who are experiencing grief over the loss of a pet.
