Indiana-PAW Stays Busy With Special Events & Fundraising Designed To Support Our Work
We've had a number of successes since we launched Indiana-PAW in November of 2004, and we share them here, so our volunteers, foster families, and partners in the animal welfare community and media (i.e., the folks who have helped bring about these successes) can share in our celebration! Click on the photos below for larger versions.
- Great Fundraisers! In September 2006, Indiana-PAW held an Open House fundraiser with Wipe Your Pawz!, at which supporters visited the Wipe Your Pawz! photography studio to schedule an appointment to have their family, including pets, photographed, with the sitting fee being donated to Indiana-PAW. Plus Indiana-PAW volunteers washed dogs for the washing fees.

Indiana-PAW volunteer Conner Fraser and Indiana-PAW Veterinary Tech Consultant Ash Lewin get wet washing dogs at the Indiana-PAW/Wipe Your Pawz! Open House on September 27th, 2006. In November 2005, Indiana-PAW held the "Indiana-PAW Christmas Home & Garden Party" at Uno's Chicago Grill. (Special thanks to Terry and Scott Moore of Home & Garden Party!) We were fortunate to have Emmy-award winning, WISH-TV personality and published author Dick Wolfsie join us at the party to sign his new books. Indiana-PAW supporters had a great time, and raised money to support our mission!
In May, nearly 50 Indiana-PAW supporters turned out to Uno's Chicago Grill in the Castleton area of Indianapolis to help raise funds for us! In June, Indiana-PAW supporters turned out to eat at 6 Pizza Huts across Central Indiana to support our work. In August, Indiana-PAW supporters purchased merchandise from Shure Pets, Inc. to support us, and in November, supporters attended the "Indiana-PAW Home & Garden Party," to raise money for us! Thank you to our supporters, Pizza Hut, Uno's Chicago Grill & Shure Pets, Inc., Dick Wolfsie, and Home & Garden Party for your generosity!
- Corporate Support! In August, as part of Discount Tire Company Inc.'s commitment to invest in the communities where they have stores and customers, Discount Tire awarded Indiana-PAW, Indiana's fastest growing animal education league, a regional philanthropic donation of $3,000! WE THANK DISCOUNT TIRE FOR THEIR GENEROSITY!
